ABC, its as easy as 1,2,3!

With the help of my momma arranging all of my classroom furniture and cleaning last week, today's visit consisted of the decorating part.  What fun it was with our Aunt Maria and cousin Meredith! I truly couldn't have pulled this cuteness off without them and I'm forever grateful.

When thinking about the past few weeks, I cannot help but think of God's timing in all of this, allowing me to feel well enough to prepare for this school year. So on Tuesday when teachers go back, I may not feel great but that's ok.  My room will be finished and  I'll not feel overwhelmed but excited to start off a fresh new year with lots of sweet students.

So without further ado...here's a peek into room 202!  (Ha!  That rhymes!)

Wish list items still need to be added!

Thanks to all who sent me a pic this board they found on Pinterest!  Now just waiting for the cute cacti made by little hands!

Brooke Key!  The infamous birthday cake!

Time to be your best...

So for now I'll just rest and enjoy some of the delicious strawberries my sweet friend Kathy sent me today.  Please stop and pray for her as she is having a double mastectomy right this very minute.  Talk about a thoughtful person sending me a prize when going through her own terrible storm!  She's a fierce one for sure and will beat this terrible disease!

My bag is packed and ready with good reads, blankets, socks, a prayer shawl, and more.

The schedule for tomorrow looks like this:

8:30 blood draw

9:00 meeting with doctor

10:00 begin chemo

Thank you for all of your prayers!  Keep em coming as we all feel them.  Love to all!

"So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries.  Today's trouble is enough for today.." Matthew 6:34

  4. Kristen, the Fleming's have been praying for you every night. Our blessing at dinner is usually said by the girls. Sasha in particular is very sweet in what she says and for the last 4 years or so that we have let her say the blessing, it has ended with "please help Nana's knees feel better, please help grandma Choice's (your Choice!) back feel better, Amen" If there are others in need, she adds them in as necessary. So, ever since we heard about your diagnosis, her prayer has added "and please help Ms Kristen feel better."
